Womenswear

These pieces are selected from my senior thesis at Syracuse University where I explored the decadence and grand aspects of 18th century European fashion. My love of history drove this collection and created something that was beautiful and most importantly different.

Fashion Without Limits is a design competition at Syracuse University that is participated in by all juniors. The competition is hosted by noted plus size supermodel and Syracuse University alumna, Emme. The competition creates an opportunity for students to learn how to dress for not just full figured women but all women and promote inclusiveness within the fashion industry. The winner receives a certificate and a $500 prize. In 2015, I was selected as the winner. This is my winning garment.

While studying abroad at the London College of Fashion I took courses such as draping, corsetry, pattern making, and shoe making. Below is a representation of the development of my craft and shows the skills I developed that I now use everyday in the industry.
